Another Knitting Project--I Can't Seem to Stop!

I had so much fun making this little purse. It was a gift for a friend of my daughter who had a "Fancy Nancy" birthday party today. Apparently she is all about the purses, so it was a good choice!

The only problem is that after working on this project for two nights, my right shoulder really hurts! Is there such a thing as "knitter's shoulder" perchance? Is my knitting career over before it even begins? The drama!

I am taking a knitting break tonight and hopefully it will be better tomorrow!

Wow! Your stuff doesn't look like you are a beginner! So pretty!

Thanks Tonni! I am definitely a beginner! That cute little rope handle covered a multitude of knitting sins! ;0)

Beautifully done purse! I love the little fringe at the corners.

How is your shoulder now after a few days? If it keeps hurting, you may have more luck with another hold - such as Continental vs English. There are also other holds to knitting too, beyond these two, but these are the ones I am most familiar with. It would be too dissapointing to have to quit when you are doing such a fine job already! Best wishes and let me know how it goes!

Update:

My shoulder is feeling better! I think it had more to do with my posture and how long I was knitting without moving around and stretching. I wasn't quite ready for marathon knitting!
