Wow. You guys rock!!!! It brings back a lot of memories of our demolition and consequent remodel -- but I have to say that yours is much, much more involved than ours was!

I laughed when I read your comment about your hubby's similarities to mine. THAT explains a lot!! Haha... :) I am still waiting on his guest post, by the way!

May God bless you guys with a lot of extra energy as you are working so hard on the place. Those seasons of being so focused on projects can be tiring -- but very rewarding at the same time! Ah, makes me want to get started ripping out our kitchen (that's our next project, slated to start later this spring... :)

I have to say that you give me way too much credit Amber! :) We do have a contractor doing a great deal of the work although Joel has been busting his butt out there too. I have mostly been holding down the fort with two really grouchy kids and going to work, coming home, starting all over again... I know, whine, whine, whine! It will be good when it is all over and we are settled. In answer to Mom to 5's question, we hope to have enough done to move in mid-April but we shall see! All I require is that the floors and bathrooms are done before I move in and of course that all the electrical outlets are covered, sooooo, pray for patience and not too many months paying two house payments!
